Sun terrace over Lake Constance

When the view is clear, a magnificent Alpine panorama spreads out over this painting. As a sun terrace above Lake Constance, Daisendorf offers a panoramic view and a relaxing distance from the tourist hustle and bustle along the lake's promenades.

Holiday in peace

So if you are looking for peace and quiet during your holiday, but still want to be right in the middle of the action at one of the destinations in the holiday region, Daisendorf is the place to be. The accommodations - whether pension or vacation home - have here moderate prices and the landlords are affable hosts. A dense network of paths for hikers and cyclists around the community invites you to do something good for your body with exercise and at the same time enjoy the charming nature.

Water lilies and water birds

A postcard idyll par excellence is the picturesquely situated Neuweiher between wooded drumlins on the outskirts of the village. It was built in the 15th century by the town of Meersburg for fish farming. After extensive restoration work, the water is now an ideal habitat for water lilies, waterfowl and rare plants on the banks.

From the Neuweiher pond, a detour to the "Schüssel" vantage point is also recommended, which offers a magnificent view of vineyards, Lake Constance and - in clear weather - the Alps with the Säntis massif. The 500-year-old St. Martin Chapel with its unique Renaissance frescoes in the Lake Constance region is also particularly worth a visit.

A wide range of leisure activities

Given the variety of leisure activities on offer, it is not surprising that many holidaymakers remain loyal to Daisendorf. On the one hand, entertainment evenings with guest honours, village festivals, fountain festivals and wine festivals offer a lot of variety, and on the other hand a leisure facility with football, tennis, badminton, volleyball, basketball, boules and archery. For bathing beauties and water sports enthusiasts, Lake Constance and the Meersburger Therme are in the immediate vicinity, accessible every hour during the season with the adventure bus.
