In the middle of the beautiful Linzgau region
Pfullendorf lies in the middle of the magnificent Linzgau region - on the German half-timbered houses, the Upper Swabian Baroque, the Hohenzollernstrasse and the Way of St James. In the picturesque old town, lovingly restored half-timbered houses bear witness to a great history.
The town of Pfullendorf
Romantic corners, playful facades and splashing fountains are best discovered on foot. The city's landmark is the Obertor, probably the most beautiful double gate in the Lake Constance region. Market square, museum of local history, stone barn, museum of town history in the Old House, historic town hall and the parish church of St. James are the stops on an interesting tour.
Every Friday from May to September there is a free guided tour of the town for guests. For groups, there is an interesting offer of bookable city and theme tours.
Throughout the year, the family-friendly Seepark Linzgau attracts visitors with its beautiful walking paths, playgrounds, water adventure world and restaurant with its southern flair. In summer the lake in the park invites you to refresh yourself, in winter the ice tent provides fun ice skating. The highlight in the Linzgau Seepark is the Pfullendorf Water Ski Park. The water ski facility promises fun and action for water skiers, wakeboarders, beginners and freaks!
Another attraction is Seepark Golf - Germany's craziest adventure golf course! Here, with real golf balls and golf putters, you get a "real" golf feeling. On 18 golf courses, there are many technical refinements and smart elements that have never been seen before in Germany. The football golf course has been open since July 2012. Here, too, 18 holes are available for the game, the only difference being: "The round doesn't have to be punched into the square, it has to be punched".
The offer is rounded off by the park Jägerhof with many different animal species and petting enclosure. The Seepark Linzgau is open daily from 9.00 a.m. until sunset. The Seepark-Restaurant and the Haus Baden-Württemberg are also open outside the opening hours. Admission to the park area is free.
Holiday region Northern Lake Constance
Pfullendorf is also an ideal starting point for excursions in the surrounding area. The holiday region Northern Lake Constance, to which Pfullendorf belongs, offers numerous possibilities: The Pfrunger-Burgweiler Ried nature reserve, numerous museums and galleries, excellent cycling and hiking opportunities, and idyllic lakes for relaxing. The holiday region is surrounded by nearby Lake Constance, the beautiful Danube valley and the Allgäu region to the east.
