Hard lies directly on Lake Constance
The market town of Hard is located directly on Lake Constance, just a few minutes by car from the Swiss border. The large ski and hiking areas of the Alps are also in the immediate vicinity.
Recreation in nature
Surrounded by protected recreational landscapes, Hard is one of the few places on Lake Constance with an unspoilt, near-natural lakeshore. The community leaders have succeeded in striking a balance between progress and tradition as well as between nature conservation and dynamic economic development.
Worth seeing are the lovingly designed textile printing museum Mittelweiherburg, the sports hall on the lake, a covered ice skating rink, a 1,500 m² skate park and the modern town hall. Concerts and other cultural events take place regularly in the Kulturwerkstatt Kammgarn.
Sports and leisure facilities
Thanks to its successful clubs, Hard is not only known beyond its borders as a guarantor for sporting and cultural excellence. Much is also being done to promote the next generation of clubs. In the field of sport, the exemplary promotion guidelines have proven their worth. For sports enthusiasts, Hardern offers a multitude of possibilities with top facilities and dedicated clubs.
