Unforgettable moments are guaranteed in the adventure forest
Just how exciting and adventurous an ordinary forest is, can be seen in the Mainau Adventure Forest. Here all climbing lovers and nature lovers will find ideal conditions for an eventful day in the midst of charming nature. The extraordinary climbing forest is located on the mainland near the flower island of Mainau and is a unique experience in Europe.
The main attraction is the climbing forest itself. Adventurous people can let their thirst for activity run free in the 9 walk-in parcours with a total of around 120 exercises and go over different levels of difficulty up to a height of 30 metres. However, every visitor will receive a safety briefing beforehand. The qualified trainers are always on hand with helpful tips and quick help for the guests, even during the climb.
Among the highlights, apart from the varied courses, are certainly the unusual tree houses with their impressive architecture. They offer climbers great opportunities to take a break or learn more about the forest as habitat during special nature tours. Another special feature is the 100-metre-long elevated footbridge that runs between the climbing courses. From here, non-climbing visitors can follow the daring hustle and bustle in the trees.
Group offers, team training and incentives
For companies, school classes or private groups, the Mainau Adventure Forest offers a wide range of activities: from class trips and company outings to professional team training or extraordinary incentives, everything is possible here. In addition to the climbing forest, a spacious area and a special team course are available for this purpose. An ideal environment for individually designed, effective team training or experiential education programmes.
St. Katharina beer garden - relaxation in the green heart of Constance
Close to the city and yet away from the hustle and bustle, there is a family atmosphere in the associated beer garden. This is located in the immediate vicinity of the climbing forest in the inner courtyard of the former monastery of St. Katharina. The cosy atmosphere under the large, shady chestnut trees invites you to replenish your energy stores with a delicious cup of coffee or a fresh barbecue. Roofed seats offer the opportunity to linger even on cloudy days. The unique location in the heart of an idyllic forest clearing makes this place a very special excursion destination. While the connoisseurs make themselves comfortable in one of the cosy sun chairs, children can play and romp on the meadows.
